Short version: All sales are final. We offer a free, fully-functional demo before any purchase so you can evaluate our work at zero risk. Once you pay and production begins, no refunds are issued for any reason.
Why we don't offer refunds
This is not a bureaucratic policy — it's the entire reason we offer free demos. Every Launchpad client sees a real, working website built for their business before spending a dollar. You aren't asked to roll the dice. You're asked to look at the actual product and say yes or no.
Once you say yes:
- A real designer and developer block time on their calendars for your project.
- Hosting infrastructure, domains, email, and software licenses are provisioned in your name.
- Photography, copywriting, and outside vendor commitments may be triggered.
That time and those costs cannot be recovered. Issuing refunds would force us to either raise prices for everyone or cut corners on quality — and we won't do either.
What "all sales are final" covers
The following do not qualify for a refund, partial refund, or credit:
- Change of mind, business pivot, or business closure after payment.
- Dissatisfaction with the production build, when the production build matches what was approved in the demo / design phase.
- Delays caused by client unresponsiveness, missing content, or scope changes.
- Third-party service outages (domain registrars, email providers, payment processors).
- Search engine ranking outcomes or specific revenue results.
- Cancellation of monthly support — your site continues running; no prorated refund for unused days in the billing period.
- Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us in writing.
The one exception
If we materially fail to deliver the service you purchased — meaning we never deliver a finished, launched website — you may request a review by writing to billing@launchpadwebsite.com within 60 days of the original payment. We will review on a case-by-case basis. This is the only circumstance under which a refund may be considered.
Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us in writing is a violation of these terms. We will dispute all such chargebacks with documentation of the demo-first process, your acceptance of these Terms, and the work completed. If a chargeback is overturned in our favor, you remain liable for the full original amount plus any fees.
Your protections
- Free demo before any payment. Always.
- Written scope before production begins.
- Staging link before anything goes live.
- You own everything — domain, content, design files — outright on full payment.
- Cancel support anytime. No lock-in.
